Welcome to the Big Question Page

You may have just taken a second step that will change the way you walk forever. These pages are not here to discuss the merits of who's right and who's wrong. If you have a faith you are committed to and you think that what is said here is in conflict with that, Take no offense, these pages are not for you. These pages are for you who need to know, there is a way. A way to find, even in a sea of troubles a place of peace and comfort.

What you will find here is plain and simple talk without a lot of chapter and verse numbers. What I hope you will find is an understanding of how much God loves you. My wish is nothing more than to point you in the right direction. The Spirit of God and you will do the rest.

 Is there a God?

If there is, does He care about us.

Let's face it, we basically have two things we can believe. Darwinisum along with the Big Bang Theory Or Creationism, That there is a God.

Here is a pet saying of mine. An Atheist, or form thereof will never know if he was right. A Christian, will never know if he was wrong.
Think about that a moment. Now think of it in reverse. What if they both step into eternity and the Atheist discovers he was wrong and the Christian he was right. In whose shoes would you prefer to be?

Because this is so important, we need to touch on it enough so we can lay it aside forever. God answered the question of how it all began very simply by saying, I am that I am. We will talk more about this answer.
I'm not a rocket scientist, I will mention the Big Bang briefly and as I understand it. It says this. In the beginning there was nothing and gases formed. Gases from all over this nothing came together and kept condensing into a single compressing unit. Eventually, the pressure became so great it caused a massive explosion. This explosion sent this condensed unit of gases in every direction. When they cooled they formed masses which formed the endless Universe.

 Amazing

That sure cleared everything up.Excuse me, No, what is really amazingis the two guys that came up with this won a Nobel Prize. I am that I am doesn't sound as bad now, does it. We will mention more about God's answer again.
Don't you find it amazing that the atheistic world is so ready to embrace the big bang without asking Where the gases came from or what kind of gases or the other zillion unanswered questions. These are the same people who demand to know If there is a God, where did he come from.

Let's shorten this whole thing by saying this. Everything you could hear about Darwin or the Big Bang all depend on the same thing. Something occurring from nothing by mere chance progress in stages into something else. Again, by chance alone. There is no real explanation of how things from nothing became something.

 Does all that sound confusing?

Well, my friend, don't feel like the Lone Ranger. It is and it is for a simple reason. People are trying to explain something without really knowing it's truth.

On the other hand God said, I am that I am. From this point of understanding He gives us a reasonable outline of it all. How come he offers no other explanation. Well, do you offer an explanation of everything to your children or other little ones you may know.

For God to try to explain things to us in our finite form, would be like us trying to explain the US tax code to a newborn infant. God is the authority here not man. God only wants us to know that He is and He care. God does not have to account to us for his exsistance. Instead, what God knows is We will see the truth of what He says in his Word.

As you study or as we talk, we will see that things are mentioned in scripture thousands of years ago that have since come to pass. Other things are mentioned that could not have been known in the era of time they are mentioned in. I really hope this small explanation has helped. Does it answer every question we might have. No it don't.

The reason for it was only to understandwe have two basic directions in which we may search For truth, love, peace and hope for the future. One road leads to emptiness and incomplete answers. One to an understanding of self and hope not just for this life but for life everlasting.

 Why is understanding this important?

You see, if we wish to arrive at a certain place we must know in what direction to travel. If we are going to reach our goal we need perhaps more than just direction. We need a map. I know where there is one. I know where you can find a copy.

Now that we have decided what direction we want to move in, maybe we can relax more and enjoy the view along our journey. What about the map? Come join me on the next page. I will tell you a tale I call The Road to Tyler.

If you don't turn the page now, come back.

Always Remember God Loves You!
